Pre-Audit of Local Governments and Autonomous Bodies
Local Fund Audit Department perform pre-audit function in the following organizations.
  • Maintenance of Accounts, operation of Accounts and Pre-Audit of the TMAs
  • Special Audit of the Local Government on the Direction of the Government
  • Lahore Development Authority (LDA)

Initiatives
June
  • Decision was taken to make grading, ranking and codification of all the officers /officials and offices including the Divisional Directorates of the LFA on certain parameters of Progress, Performance, Compliance, Efficiency, Discipline, and Conduct etc
  • Self-initiated Annual Capacity Building and Professional Development Plan was prepared by all the Divisional Directorates for the Financial Year 2016-2017 and was published as a consolidated document by the LFA
  • Annual Action Plan of activities, tasks and assignments was prepared by every Divisional Directorate for the financial year 2016-2017 and published as a consolidated document by the LFA
  • Job description of each and every post of the LFA was prepared by all the Divisional Directorates for finalization at Provincial Directorate Level
  • Decision was taken to strengthen Library of the Provincial Directorate and almost one Hundred (100) new books were added in the Library
  • Decision was taken to give incentive to the staff of the head offices at Provincial and all Divisional Directorate Levels and of the Cadre Schemes on certain parameters and Rs.8,81,000/- were awarded to 136 members of the LFA
  • A Project of the LFA, Finance Department titled “Automated Financial Management and Monitoring System (AFMMS)” costing Rs.152M (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty Two Millions) was approved by the Provincial Assembly as part of   the ADP Budget of the Government of Punjab for the financial year 2016-2017

  • Critical analysis, examination and revision of the existing service rules of  LFA , was carried out by collective thinking and wisdom of althe officers/Officials at all the    Divisional Directorates and valuable suggestions and recommendations were  emerged for finalization of updation and amendment in  rules at the Provincial   Level
